Young Womens :)

(I just have to Blog about this, I'm so excited!)
I'm super excited about my new duties as the Young Women's Personal Progress advisor. For those who don't know, I was a convert to the church and didn't get to participate in the wonderful preparations such as seminary and personal progress program. Don't get me wrong I had a good life and amazing parents for role models who set examples for me and helped mold me in who I am today. Heavenly Father was as real then as he is now and Jesus Christ has forever been my Savior. Something was always missing until I met my husband whom introduced me to the true Church of Christ. Iv never been so complete and happy. However in learning the church history and understanding the activities and how much is offered in strengthening the youth in there faith and daily walk through life. I begin to ponder how amazing it would have been to be able to have participated at a younger age. To have received that guidance and how much of a difference it would have made in my life. So when I was offered the calling I was jumping for joy (inside of course). This is such a blessing for me. I not only get to help teach these amazing young women but they will be teaching me as well. Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us. I am so grateful for this opportunity. And am so happy to be placed among other great women who will make impressions in these young women's life's. I went to a Web site called Sugardoodle, I'm sure you know all about it if not go check it out, and found a wonderful quote I would like to share.
"When you save a girl, you save generations" - President Gordon B. Hinckley
